RAMALLAH, October 6, 2024 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces closed the entrance to the village of Aboud, located northwest of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, on Sunday morning.
Local sources reported that the Israeli military shut the metal gate on the main road leading to the village, preventing vehicles from passing through. As a result, residents were forced to use alternative dirt roads to navigate in and out of the area.
Over the last months, Israeli occupation forces have been imposing similar measures across the occupied West Bank, including the use of iron gates and earth barriers at the entrances to various towns and villages.
The closure of the main entrance to Aboud has a direct impact on the daily lives of local Palestinians and their ability to move freely within their own territory.
