JERICHO, October 4, 2024 (WAFA) – Fifteen workers sustained injuries and bruises today following an assault by Israeli occupation forces north of the city of Jericho in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that Israeli police intercepted a vehicle in the town of Al-Auja, which was carrying workers returning from their jobs in the Dead Sea area. The officers reportedly subjected the workers to severe physical assault.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that its teams responded to treat the fifteen injured workers, who suffered injuries due to the violent attack by the Israeli forces near Jericho.
