Casualties and injuries reported in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza

GAZA, October 4, 2024 (WAFA) – Several Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured today in Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, according to local and media sources.

According to the reports, two individuals lost their lives and several others were injured when an Israeli drone launched a missile at a group of civilians in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza. The injured were transported to the Indonesian Hospital in the area for medical treatment.

Additionally, rescue teams from the Palestinian Red Crescent recovered the bodies of two victims, Majed Muntaser Al-Farra, 25, and Ahmad Hussam Al-Tawil, 29, from the rubble of two houses that were struck by Israeli missiles in the Ma'an and Al-Manara areas, south of Khan Younis. Their bodies were subsequently taken to the European Hospital in the city.

Reports also indicated the murder of fisherman Faris Ahmad Saadallah and injuries to others following an Israeli attack on a group of fishermen off the northwest coast of Gaza City.

Furthermore, Israeli artillery shelled civilian homes in the Al-Da’wah area, northeast of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in 41,788 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 96,794 individuals sustaining injuries, the majority of whom are women and children.

Thousands are also feared dead under the rubble of destroyed structures across the war-torn enclave, with civil defense teams and emergency services unable to reach several areas due to safety concerns amid the indiscriminate Israeli attacks.
