BEIRUT, September 29, 2024 (WAFA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported last night that the Israeli attacks on various areas of Lebanon on Saturday resulted in the killing of 33 individuals and injuries to 195 others.

In a statement to Reuters, Nasser Yassin, head of the government crisis cell and Minister of Environment, revealed that nearly one million Lebanese have been displaced due to the ongoing Israeli attacks, with hundreds of thousands fleeing since Friday.

Earlier, Minister of Health Firas Al-Abyad held a press conference where he reported a total of 1,640 lives lost since October 8, including 104 children and 194 women.

He noted that the number of injured has reached 8,408, with many victims still trapped under rubble. Al-Abyad also highlighted the tragic loss of 41 healthcare and emergency workers, alongside 111 others who sustained various injuries.
