RAMALLAH, September 22, 2024 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces razed large tracts of land this morning in the village of Um Safa, located northwest of Ramallah, according to local sources.
Mawran Al-Sabbah, the head of the Um Safa Village Council, reported that Israeli troops, accompanied by military bulldozers, stormed the village and embarked on extensive land levelling operations in the Jabal Al-Ras area.
He noted that the demolition activities had started several days ago, and as of today, approximately 500 dunums of land have been cleared for the purpose of establishing a new settlement outpost.
