RAMALLAH, Thursday, July 25, 2024 (WAFA) – Weather on Thursday continues to be very hot with a rise in temperature, becoming three degrees above the normal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are light to moderate, southwesterly to northwesterly, and occasionally picking up in speed. Sea conditions will see waves of light to moderate height.

As evening approaches, temperatures will become mild in mountainous regions and relatively warm elsewhere. 

Friday's weather is expected to be very hot with no change in temperature, which rises and approches five degrees Celsius on Saturday.

PMD warned citizens against exposure to direct sunlight for a long period, especially during peak hours, and of the danger of setting fires in areas where grasses and dry trees abound.
