RAMALLAH, Wednesday, June 19, 2024 (WAFA) -  Weather in Palestine today is hot to very hot in most areas with no significant change in temperatures, remaining higher than the annual average by around five degrees Celsius, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are light to moderate, westerly to northwesterly. Sea waves are low.

Hot to very hot weather conditions are expected to continue on Thursday. Temperature is expected to drop, yet staying above its annual average by about 4 degrees Celsius.

Weather is expected to remain hot to very hot on Friday and Saturday, with no change in temperatures.

The Meteorological Department warned citizens against prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during the peak hours; between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and against setting fire to dry grasslands.
