RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 6, 2024 (WAFA) – Palestine is expected to continue to be affected by a heatwave today, thus weather is expected to be clear in general, very hot, dry with a rise in temperature, becoming six degrees Celsius higher than its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds is southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

No change on temperature or weather conditions is expected on Friday.

Saturday's weather will be generally clear and hot in most areas, with a drop in temperature while remaining above their annual average by about three degrees Celsius. 

PMD warned citizens against exposure to direct sunlight for a long period, especially during peak hours, and of the danger of setting fires in areas where grasses and dry trees abound.
