RAMALLAH, Monday, June 3, 2024 (WAFA) – Palestine is expected to continue to be affected by a heatwave today, thus weather is expected to be clear in general, very hot, dry and dusty and times with a rise in temperature, becoming eight degrees Celsius higher than its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds is southeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
On Tuesday, the weather will be generally clear and hot to very hot, as temperature drops while remaining above their general annual average by about five degrees Celsius.
Wednesday's weather will be generally clear and hot in most areas, with a drop in temperature while remaining above their annual average by about four degrees Celsius.
Weather on Thursday will be generally clear and hot to very hot in most areas. Temperature will rise to become higher than its annual average by about seven degrees Celsius.
PMD warned citizens against exposure to direct sunlight for a long period, especially during peak hours, and of the danger of setting fires in areas where grasses and dry trees abound.
