RAMALLAH, Wednesday, May 8, 2024 (WAFA) – Weather today is expected to be partially cloudy to clear, moderate, with a relatively cold day in the evening and night hours, especially over the mountainous areas. Temperature is expected to rise becoming around its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

Thursday's weather will be partly cloudy to clear, hot and dry. Temperature is expected to significantly rise to become higher than the general average by about five degrees Celsius. Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly active, with strong gusts at times. Sea will be high.

Partly cloudy to clear, hot and dry conditions are expected to prevail on Friday.  Temperature is expected to significantly rise again to become higher than the general average by about six degrees Celsius. 

Saturday's weather will be partly cloudy and moderate, with a significant drop in temperatures to become around their general average.

PMD warned people next Thursday and Friday of the danger of exposure to direct sunlight, especially during peak hours, and of the danger of fires in areas with dry grasses.
