RAMALLAH, Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (WAFA) – Weather in Palestine today is expected to be very hot and dry as the country continues to be under the effect of a heatwave, with no change in temperature, which remains 13 degrees Celsius above the annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is easterly to southeasterly, light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

The heatwave is expected to continue on Thursday thus hot, dry and dusty weather conditions are expected to continue with a rise in temperature, becoming 14 degrees Celsius above the annual average.

Partially cloudy and hot conditions are expected to prevail on Friday as temperature drops yet remains five degrees Celsius above the annual average.

Saturday's weather is expected to be relatively hot with yet another slight drop in temperature.

PMD warns citizens against direct exposure to the sun especially in the peak hours, and setting fire in dry areas.
