RAMALLAH, Saturday, April 6, 2024 (WAFA) – Weather today is clear to partly cloudy and mild in the mountains and relatively warm to warm in the Jordan Valley in the daytime with a significant drop in temperature, which becomes seasonal, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Partly cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions are expected in the evening and night hours. Light to occasionally moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows in the daytime and picks up in the night. Sea waves are low to medium.

The temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 10°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 19°C and a low of 9°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 16°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Sunday’s temperature is set to further slightly drop, paving the way to partly cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions, particularly in the mountains. A chance of light rain is expected in the north.

A slight temperature rise is expected on Monday, becoming unseasonably low and paving the way to partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions, particularly in the mountains. The chance remains for sporadic light rainfall, particularly in the evening and night hours.

Tuesday’s temperature is set to drop, paving the way to partly cloudy and cold conditions. The chance remains for sporadic rain showers accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail.
