RAMALLAH, Friday, February 2, 2024 (WAFA) - Weather today in Palestine is rainy and partly to mostly cloudy, accompanied by cold to extremely cold temperatures, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.

Scattered showers are anticipated across most regions, with some areas experiencing heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and occasional hail.

Winds are active, blowing from the southwest and northwest, occasionally gusting strongly. Sea waves are moderately rough.

Looking ahead to Saturday, the weather is expected to remain rainy and partially to mostly cloudy, with a slight rise in temperatures while maintaining a cold to extremely cold atmosphere. Scattered showers are predicted for some regions.

Partly to mostly cloudy conditions and a further rise in temperatures are expected for Sunday, yet the weather will persist as cold to extremely cold. The chance of scattered rainfall remains, particularly in northern areas.

Moving into Monday, the weather is anticipated to be partially to mostly cloudy, with a slight additional rise in temperatures. Scattered rainfall is expected, especially in northern and central regions.

People are warned about the risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas. Additionally, caution is advised due to strong winds, potential road slipperiness and reduced horizontal visibility.
