BETHLEHEM, Thursday, January 4, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man sustained fractures, injuries, and bruises today following a brutal assault by colonial Israeli settlers in the wilderness of the village of Kisan, located east of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Musa Ebayat, the head of the Kisan Village Council, informed WAFA that settlers attacked Ibrahim Sawarka, 40, and his family while they were in their tent in the wilderness of the village.
The assailants mercilessly beat him and unleashed police dogs on him, resulting in bites on his feet leading to fractures and inflicting wounds and bruises all over his body.
He was promptly transported to a hospital in nearby Bethlehem for necessary medical treatment. Additionally, the attackers destroyed all the contents of the tent, Ebayat added.
This latest terror assault by settlers is not an isolated incident; it is part of a series of Israeli state-sponsored attacks targeting innocent Palestinian civilians across the occupied West Bank. These attacks have included burning tents, demolishing agricultural structures, and confiscating livestock.
