JENIN, September 13, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces early Sunday detained eight Palestinians during raids on Jenin city and several towns and villages across the governorate, raiding homes and conducting field interrogations.
Local sources told WAFA that those detained were identified as Hisham Abu Ghali, Ali Rami Al-Darbi, Ahmad Al-Sayyed, Rafo Abu Shamleh and Uday Basem Qabaha from Jenin city; Saleh Ahmad Najib Emour from the village of Rummana, west of Jenin; Jawad Mohammad Sami Aliat from Deir Abu Da'if; and Nadim Abu Al-Rub from Jalbun.
The sources said Israeli forces also raided the towns and villages of Deir Abu Da'if, Jalbun, Al-Hashimiya, Burqin, Rummana, Zububa, Silat al-Harithiya, Arraba, Ya'bad and Aaba, deploying troops across several neighborhoods and streets. The raid on Deir Abu Da'if was still ongoing.
The forces raided and searched a number of homes and conducted field interrogations with several residents as part of a wider campaign of raids across the governorate.
