JERUSALEM, September 13 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained a young woman today, Sunday, at the Beit Iksa checkpoint, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that occupation forces stopped the young woman as she was passing through the checkpoint and subsequently detained her; her identity and the reasons for her detention remain unknown at this time.
The arrest comes amidst intensified military measures by occupation forces at checkpoints and the entrances to villages and towns surrounding occupied Jerusalem, accompanied by the searching and detention of residents and restrictions on the movement of the local population.
