SALFIT, September 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Two citizens sustained injuries and bruises today, Sunday, following an attack by colonists in the Wadi al-Sha'er area, east of the city of Salfit.
Local sources told WAFA that Mohammed Darwish and Nashat Ishtayeh, both from Salfit, were severely beaten by colonists while present on their agricultural land in the area, resulting in injuries and bruising.
The Wadi al-Sha'er area, located east of Salfit, is subject to frequent attacks and harassment by colonists—including assaults on citizens and their agricultural lands—amid an escalation of colonists violence in the governorate.
The area is situated along a main road connecting Salfit to Al-Zaytoona University and sees daily traffic from citizens, students, and vehicles.
