TUBAS, September 13, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces early Sunday detained five members of the same family from the town of Tammun, south of Tubas in the northern West Bank.
Kamal Bani Odeh, director of the Prisoners' Society in Tubas, said Israeli forces detained Jihad Hassan Bani Odeh, his wife Rashida Burhan Bani Odeh, their 24-year-old son Laith, and their two 16-year-old twins, Majd and Wajd.
He added that the family was detained as a means of pressuring their son, Ahmad Bani Odeh, to turn himself in.
