RAMALLAH, Saturday, December 23, 2023 (WAFA) -- The impact of the low-pressure front that affected Palestine yesterday continues today bringing cold conditions, rainfall and high northwesterly winds approaching 60 km/h, and high sea waves, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 13°C and a low of 9°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 12°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 15°C, and a high of 17°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue tomorrow, Sunday, as the low-pressure front begins to gradually subside during the night hours.
On Monday, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy with a slight rise in temperature but it remains cold in most areas.
Another rise in temperature is expected on Tuesday but the weather remains cold in the mountainous areas and warm in the rest of the country, said the PMD.
