RAMALLAH, Saturday, November 18, 2023 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is partly cloudy to clear with no change in temperature and a chance of local rain in the north and coastal areas, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 15°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 21°C and a low of 14°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 21°C, and a high of 25°C and a low of 18°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A low-pressure cold front is expected to affect the country tomorrow, Sunday, causing temperatures to plummet. Rain is expected in the northern areas in the morning and spreads to the rest of the country in the afternoon and night, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms. Strong winds and gusts are expected to reach 60 kilometers per hour.

The low-pressure front is expected to continue on Monday further bringing down the temperature. Rain is also expected, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms.

A rise in temperature is expected on Tuesday with a chance of light scattered rain in the morning, said the PMD, which warned against flood formation in low areas and valleys, slippery roads, low horizontal visibility and strong winds.
