RAMALLAH, Saturday, October 28, 2023 (WAFA) – Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected today in Palestine and relatively hot to very hot conditions with a slight drop in temperature, which remains 3°C above the seasonal average, and a slight chance of sporadic rain is expected in some areas, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and sea waver are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 19°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 25°C, and a high of 30°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Sunday, to become 4°C above the seasonal average and a chance of scattered showers is expected in some areas.
Temperature drops on Monday to become around the seasonal average with a chance of scattered rain in different areas.
However, the temperature rises again on Tuesday to become above the seasonal average with a chance of scattered showers in some areas, said the PMD.
