RAMALLAH, Monday, October 23, 2023 (WAFA) -  The Palestinian Ministry of Health has issued an official statement on the effects of the Israeli aggression on Palestine.

The statement said 70% of the number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip are children, women and elderly, detailing that 1903 children, 1024 women and 187 elderly were killed in the Israeli aggression.

The Ministry also said that 65% of Gaza's health care center stopped working and 20 hospitals stopped functioning since the aggression.

It explored that the number of Palestinians who are now displaced due to the Israeli aggression is now 1.4 million.

The statement added that there are approximately 166 unsafe births per day and that the Ministry expects 5500 women to give birth next month.
