CAIRO, Sunday, October 22, 2023 (WAFA) – The Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN) expressed today its sorrow and concern over media reports about tragic incidents against journalists and the media in the war-torn areas of the Middle East.

There have been reports that a Reuters video journalist and Palestinian journalists were killed, journalists from AFP and Al Jazeera were wounded while the house of an Anadolu photojournalist has been bombed and members of his family were killed.

AMAN strongly condemned attacks on media people while doing their job in Israel, Gaza and South Lebanon and urgently called upon all sides involved to protect journalists, photojournalists and TV crews and facilitate their reporting from conflict zones.
