RAMALLAH, Tuesday, September 12, 2023 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said the number of Palestinian victims of the storm that struck eastern Libya has risen to 12.
The ministry explained that the Palestinian Embassy in Libya and its Consulate General in Benghazi reported the death of Khaled Mohammed Nofal and his 5-year-old son Yassin, bringing the number of victims among the Palestinian community in Libya to 12.
"We are following a real disaster and we have confirmed information about dozens of missing Palestinian families," said Ambassador Ahmed Al-Deek, political advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
The ministry extended its deep condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, wishing safety for the missing.
