RAMALLAH, September 14, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists began constructing a colonial road today, Monday, on lands belonging to the town of Ni'lin, west of Ramallah.

Local sources reported that settlers, accompanied by three bulldozers, entered the town and began carving out a settlement road in the "Zubda" area to the west. The road cuts across an area estimated at 70 dunams planted with olive trees, intended to facilitate the establishment of a new colonial outpost; the site is adjacent to the Annexation and Expansion Wall.

It is noteworthy that last week, colonists began constructing another settlement road in "Wadi Ni'lin" to the north—spanning a length of up to 5 kilometers—aimed at reaching the Jabal al-Alam area. Colonists had seized control of Jabal al-Alam in 2021 and established a pastoral outpost on its lands.
