RAMALLAH, September 14, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestin Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts hot weather today, Monday, in mountainous areas and very hot conditions in other regions. A slight rise in temperatures is expected, bringing them to about 4°C above the annual average. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally picking up speed, and sea conditions will range from calm to moderate.

The PMD warned against the dangers of prolonged exposure to direct sunlight—particularly during peak hours from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.—as well as lighting fires in areas with abundant dry grass and leaving children or the elderly inside enclosed vehicles.
