RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 8, 2023 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces this morning detained at least 27 Palestinians from across the occupied territories, most of them from the town of Beita in the north of the West Bank.
Sources said the Israeli army detained 16 people during a large-scale raid of Beita, south of Nablus, who included a 52-year-old man and his 28-year-old son, a 65-year-old man, and two siblings. Some of the detainees were later released.
Further north in the Jenin district, the army detained six people from the town of Arraba, and in the south of the West Bank, one person was detained from the town of Yatta and another from Beit Ummar in the Hebron district.
Three people, including a child and his father and another child, were also detained from the village of Biddo, northwest of Jerusalem.
