HEBRON, Monday, February 20, 2023 (WAFA) – Israel today knocked down a cattle barn and stone terraces in al-Buweib village, east of Yatta town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, according to a local activist.

Fuad al-‘Amour said that Israeli forces, accompanying a bulldozer, barged their way into the southern West Bank village, and demolished a livestock barn and stone terraces belonging to a member of the Mahayna family, purportedly for being close to the encroaching colonial settlement of Beni Heiver.

He added that Israeli forces restrict Palestinian access to water in the area, preventing the villagers of al-Buweib and other villages close to Masafer Yatta from digging up wells and installing water pipelines with the ultimate goal of displacing them and takeover their land for colonial settlement construction.
