RAMALLAH, Tuesday, January 31, 2023 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas received today the Director of the Egyptian General Intelligence Directorate, Abbas Kamel, and the Directors of the Jordanian General Intelligence Directorates, Ahmad Husni, at the presidential headquarters in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
The two Directors of the General Intelligence Directorates delivered a message of support and solidarity from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and King Abdullah II of Jordan, affirming their support for President Abbas, Palestine and its people, and their concern for security and stability in the region.
The President stressed the importance of continuing coordination with the Egyptian and Jordanian sides, and thanked them for the efforts made by Egypt and Jordan to stand by the Palestinian people and their just cause.
