Calls for investigation into cold-blooded murder of Ammar Mefleh focus of dailies

RAMALLAH, Sunday, December 4, 2022 (WAFA) – Palestinian Arabic-language dailies focused today on calls by UN and EU officials for a thorough investigation into the cold-blooded murder of Palestinian youth Ammar Mefleh last Friday by an Israeli soldier in the town of Huwwara, in the West Bank province of Nablus.

These are the main headlines:

Al-Quds:

- President Mahmoud Abbas offers condolences over the telephone for the bereaved father of Ammar Mefleh.

- Tor Wennesland and Josep Borrell call for an investigation into the murder of Palestinian youth Ammar Mefleh.

- Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh: Palestine is a young country, and we have important success stories. The occupation wants us to be a slow, poor and besieged people.
