NABLUS, July 31, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Friday assaulted a Palestinian youth at the Awarta checkpoint, south of Nablus, according to a medical source.
Amid Ahmad, Director of the Emergency and Ambulance Center, said that PCRS crews provided first aid treatment to a 22-year-old man after being assaulted by gun-toting Israeli soldiers at the checkpoint.
He identified the victim as one of 11 detainees the occupation forces rounded up earlier from Tell town, southwest of Nablus.
Earlier today, dozens of colonists barged their way into the Ain al-Mazrab area of Tell, under the protection of Israeli forces.
The raid came after Israeli colonists called for a mass march to Tell on Friday and a day after the occupation forces turned four homes in the town into military outposts.
