RAMALLAH, July 31, 2026 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas extended his condolence to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, expressing his deepest sympathies over the victims of the wildfires that swept through several parts of Algeria amid an intense heatwave affecting the region.
In his telegram, President Abbas extended his heartfelt condolences to the Algerian government and people, reaffirming the State of Palestine's full solidarity with Algeria. The President also praised the efforts of the Algerian authorities and rescue teams to bring the devastating fires under control.
President Abbas concluded by wishing Algeria and its people continued peace, security, and prosperity.
