RAMALLAH, July 31, 2026 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas sent extended his condolences to Tunisian counterpart Kais Saied, expressing the State of Palestine's solidarity and sympathy over the extensive material damage caused by wildfires that broke out in several parts of Tunisia amid an intense heatwave affecting the region.

In his telegram, President Abbas conveyed his solidarity with the Tunisian government and people and praised the efforts of the Tunisian authorities and rescue teams in containing the fires.

He concluded by wishing Tunisia and its people continued peace, security, and prosperity.
