Weather: Slight drop in temperature, but remains above average

RAMALLAH, Saturday, May 29, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is generally clear and relatively hot in most districts and hot in the Jordan Valley with a slight drop in temperature, which remains 2°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, gets active at times, and sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 26°C and a low of 15°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Sunday, as temperature becomes 3°C above the seasonal average.

A significant rise in temperature is expected on Monday, which approaches 10°C above the seasonal average.

Temperature, however, drops significantly on Tuesday to return to the season’s average, said the PMD.
