RAMALLAH, Monday, May 24, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to clear and mild in most districts and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley in daytime with another rise in temperature, which becomes seasonal, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Partly cloudy to clear and cold conditions are expected, particularly in the mountains. Light to moderate westerly to northwesterly wind blows in daytime, while active northwesterly wind blows in nighttime. Sea waves are low in daytime and medium to high in the night hours.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 24°C and a low of 15°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 33°C and a low of 23°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Tuesday’s temperature is set to further rise and approach 2°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to partly cloudy to clear and mild conditions in most districts and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley. Slightly cold conditions are expected in nighttime, particularly in the mountains.

Temperature is set to further rise on Wednesday and approach 5°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to unseasonably hot conditions in most districts and very hot conditions in the Jordan Valley in daytime. Moderate conditions are expected in nighttime, particularly in the mountains.

Thursday’s temperature is set to remain steady with mostly clear and hot conditions in most districts and very hot conditions in the Jordan Valley in daytime. Moderate conditions are expected in the early morning and night hours, particularly in the mountains.
