RAMALLAH, Sunday, May 23, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is partially cloudy and slightly cold to moderate with a rise in temperature, which yet remains 2 C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are westerly to northwesterly and moderate to active, especially during the night and evening hours. Sea waves are medium to high.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 23 C and a low of 15 C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 22 C and a low of 14 C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 32 C and a low of 22 C, while it is expected to reach a high of 23 C and a low of 19 C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Another rise in temperature is expected on Monday to become around the annual average, and another rise is also expected on Tuesday to become above the annual average by 2 C, said the PMD, which warned people against high winds today.

Temperature rises further on Wednesday approaching 5 C above the seasonal average, with abundantly hot conditions prevailing across the country.
