RAMALLAH, Monday, May 17, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today is mostly clear and mild in most districts and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley in daytime with a significant drop in temperature, which becomes seasonal, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather tonight is slightly to relatively cold in the mountains and mild in other districts. Moderate to active northwesterly wind blows in daytime, while light to moderate northwesterly wind blows in nighttime. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 24°C and a low of 15°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 36°C and a low of 21°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Tuesday’s temperature is set to slightly rise, with mostly clear and mild conditions in the mountains and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley in daytime. Slightly cold to mild conditions are expected in nighttime.
Wednesday’s temperature is set to further rise and approach 5°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to mostly clear and hot conditions in most districts and very hot conditions in the Jordan Valley in daytime. Moderate conditions are expected in nighttime.
A further slight rise is expected in temperature on Thursday, paving the way to unseasonably hot conditions in most districts and very hot conditions in the Jordan Valley in daytime. Slightly cold to moderate conditions are expected in nighttime.
