RAMALLAH, Wednesday, May 12, 2021 (WAFA) – Moderate weather conditions are expected today in Palestine with a drop in temperature, which nevertheless remains slightly above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally active while sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 25°C and a low of 15°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 21°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Moderate conditions are expected tomorrow, Thursday, the first day of the Muslim Eid al-Fitr holiday marking the end of the holy fast month of Ramadan, and on Friday and Saturday, the second and third days of the Eid, as temperature further drops and becomes around the seasonal average.
