RAMALLAH, Saturday, April 03, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is partly cloudy and relatively cold in the mountainous areas with a rise in temperature, which nevertheless remains below its seasonal average and a slight chance of scattered rain in some areas until the noon hours, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate gets active at times, and sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 13°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Temperature rises again tomorrow, Easter Sunday, and again on Monday to approach 4°C above the seasonal average as moderate conditions prevail in the mountainous areas and warm in the rest of the country.
Another significant rise in temperature is expected on Tuesday to become 9°C above the seasonal average with hot conditions prevailing throughout the country, said the PMD.
