RAMALLAH, Sunday, March 28, 2021 (WAFA) – The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine increased by 1.34 percent during last February compared with January, as it reached 94.71 points in comparison with its base year 2019, said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
Producer Price Index for locally consumed products reached 94.15 in February 2021 (2019 = 100), which indicates an increase by 1.36 percent compared to January 2021.
Producer Price Index for local exported products reached 99.88 in February 2021 (2019 = 100), which indicates an increase by 1.13 percent compared to January 2021.
The changes of PPI for February 2021 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:
