RAMALLAH, Wednesday, March 24, 2021 (WAFA) – A low pressure and a cold front are set to affect the region today, causing temperature to plummet and paving the way to partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold, particularly in mountainous districts, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Sporadic rain showers are set to fall, particularly in the north. Strong westerly wind blows. Sea waves are medium to high.  

Thursday’s temperature is set to further drop, paving the way to partly cloudy to cloudy and cold conditions, particularly in mountains. Sporadic rain showers are expected, especially in the north.

Partly cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions are expected on Friday, particularly in mountains, with a further drop in temperature. A chance of  sporadic rainfall is expected on most districts.  

Saturday’s temperature is set to slightly rise with partly cloudy and cold conditions. A chance of scattered light rainfall is expected on some districts.

PMD warns people against weather fluctuations, sharp drop in temperature, gusty wind, slippery roads and low horizontal visibility.
