RAMALLAH, Sunday, March 21, 2021 (WAFA) – A further rise in temperature is expected today in Palestine to become 9°C above the seasonal average with partly cloudy to clear skies and moderate spring conditions in the mountainous regions, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are southeasterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 24°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 21°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Relatively hot, cloudy and dusty spring conditions are expected to prevail on Monday in most areas, with a little chance of scattered showers in some areas.
Similar weather conditions are expected for Tuesday with temperature reaching 11°C above the seasonal average, said the PMD, with hot conditions prevailing throughout the country.
A significant drop in temperature is expected on Wednesday, with a chance of rain showers over most areas of Palestine.
