RAMALLAH, Thursday, March 18, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold in mountainous areas following a drop in temperature and a low chance of scattered rain in some areas, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are westerly to northwesterly, moderate to active, and sea waves are medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 13°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Friday, with relatively cold conditions in mountainous districts.

However, hot conditions are expected on Saturday as temperature further rises to become 5°C higher than the annual average, and again on Sunday to become 8°C higher than the annual average, said the PMD.
