Weather forecast: Partly cloudy to clear conditions

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, March 17, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy to clear and relatively cold in mountains and relatively mild in other districts in daytime with a rise in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Partly cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions are expected in nighttime. Moderate to occasionally active southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows in daytime, while light to moderate northwesterly wind blows in nighttime. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 15°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Thursday’s temperature is set to drop and become unseasonably low, paving the way to partly cloudy and relatively cold conditions in mountains, mild in other districts and warm in the Jordan Valley. Relatively cold to cold conditions are expected in nighttime. A slight chance of sporadic rainfall is expected.

A rise in temperature is expected on Friday, with relatively cold conditions in mountainous districts and relatively mild conditions in other districts in daytime. Relatively cold conditions are expected in nighttime.

Saturday’s temperature is set to further rise and become unseasonably high, with partly cloudy to clear and mild conditions in mountains and relatively warm conditions in other districts. Relatively cold conditions are expected in nighttime.
