RAMALLAH, Tuesday, March 09, 2021 (WAFA) – News about the statements made by the Fatah  Central Committee about upcoming Palestinian elections hit the front pages of the Palestinian Arabic dailies published on Tuesday.

Al-Hayat al-Jadida, al-Ayyam and al-Quds said that Fatah declared that it'll run in the upcoming Palestinian polls in a unified list.

Al-Hayat al-Jadida and al-Quds published a statement made by President Mahmoud Abbas, who sent his greetings to all Palestinian women on the occasion of the International Women's Day marked on March 8 of every year.

The President praised the fundamental role the Palestinian women play in building the family and society, their welfare and progress, and in standing alongside men in the battle for liberation and building.

Al-Hayat al-Jadida and al-Ayyam reported that Palestine recorded 2003 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, 22 deaths, and 1909 recoveries.

The dailies reported that Israeli occupation forces yesterday demolished several Palestinian-owned structures across the occupied West Bank.
