RAMALLAH, Thursday, February 25, 2021 (WAFA) – Construction Cost Index (CCI), Road Cost Index (RCI), Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI), and Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank increased during January compared to December, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
CCI for residential buildings increased by 1.17% due to a rise in the prices of raw materials by 2.02%, while rental of equipment slightly decreased by 0.04%. At the same time, labor costs and wages remained stable.
CCI for non-residential buildings also increased by 1.16% due to an increase in the prices of raw materials by 1.92%, while rental of equipment slightly decreased by 0.01%. At the same time, labor costs and wages remained stable.
CCI for skeleton buildings increased by 2.57% due to an increase in the prices of raw materials by 4.12%, while rental of equipment slightly decreased by 0.04%. At the same time, labor costs and wages remained stable.
RCI increased by 0.73% due rise in the prices of raw materials by 1.20%, and operating costs of equipment and maintenance by 0.77%, while rental of equipment slightly decreased by 0.01%. At the same time, labor costs and wages remained stable WNCI increased by 1.61%, Water Reservoirs Cost Index increased by 4.59%, Water Networks Cost Index increased by 0.43%, and SNCI increased by 0.27% in the West Bank during January compared with December.
