RAMALLAH, Friday, February 19, 2021 (WAFA) – The Palestinian and Israeli ministries of health agreed today on inoculating 100,000 Palestinian workers who work in Israel against COVID-19.
During a meeting which discussed the coronavirus pandemic, the Palestinian Ministry of Health demanded its Israeli counterpart to recognize the Palestinian vaccination card, as well as to enhance technical cooperation to prevent an outbreak of new COVID-19 mutations.
On the political side, the Palestinian Health Ministry demanded that the Israeli occupation forces refrain from intercepting its vehicles and medical teams as they commute to the remote areas of Masafer Yatta locality, south of Hebron, for the purpose of providing children's vaccinations and maternity care to the Bedouin population.
