RAMALLAH, Saturday, February 13, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is generally clear and warm in the mountainous areas and relatively hot in other districts with no change in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 9°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 17°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A slight rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Sunday, which drops on Monday, but rises against on Tuesday, said the PMD.
However, a cold polar front is expected to affect Palestine and the region starting Tuesday night as temperature drops significantly with rain falling on the northern areas possibly accompanied by thunderstorms. Strong, dusty winds and high sea waves are also expected on Tuesday evening.
