Weather: Palestine remains under the effect of the cold front with rain expected during the day

RAMALLAH, Saturday, January 30, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is cloudy and very cold as the cold front continues to affect the region. A rise in temperatures is expected along with scattered showers, mainly in the northern areas. The rain is expected to subside at night, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are southwesterly to westerly, moderate to strong, and sea waves are medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 11°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 10°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A further rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Sunday, with a low chance of scattered showers in the morning on some areas in the north of the country.

Another rise in temperature is expected for Monday and Tuesday, but conditions remain relatively cold in the mountainous districts and moderate in the others.
