RAMALLAH, Monday, January 25, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today is mostly clear and relatively cold in mountainous districts and mild in other districts in daytime, with a slight rise in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Cold to very cold conditions are expected in nighttime. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 8°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 15°C and a low of 7°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 11°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Tuesday’s temperature is set to slightly rise with partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively conditions in mountainous districts and mild conditions in other districts in daytime. Cold conditions are expected in nighttime.
A further slight rise in temperature is expected on Wednesday, with partially cloudy to cloudy and mild conditions in most districts. Cold conditions are expected in nighttime.
A polar low pressures and cold front are set to affect the region on Thursday, causing temperatures to plummet and paving the way to cloudy, stormy and very cold conditions. Occasional torrential showers are expected on most districts with occasional thunderstorms and hail.
